How Quadrant handles your data.

Who we are

Quadrant is a publication by Arif Ismail Bayrak and Kerem Ozkefeli. You can reach us at hello@thequadrant.fm. When this page says "we" it means the two of us.

What we collect

  • Email address when you subscribe to the weekly digest.
  • Whatever you type into a contact, guest, or apply form on this site.
  • Server logs produced by our host (Vercel) for security and abuse prevention. Typical request metadata: IP, user-agent, timestamp.

We do not run analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any third-party scripts that profile you.

What we do with it

  • Send you the weekly digest if you subscribed. One email, Sunday morning. Unsubscribe link in every send.
  • Reply to anything you sent through a form.
  • Operate the site and detect abuse via short-lived logs.

Who else sees it

We use a small set of vendors. Each only sees the data needed to do its job.

  • Vercel hosts the site and stores request logs.
  • Neon stores the database (your subscription, form submissions).
  • Clerk handles sign-in for the admin area. Public readers never reach this.
  • Resend delivers the weekly digest and transactional email.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Subscriber emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Form submissions: kept while they are relevant to the conversation you started, deleted on request. Server logs: short-lived (Vercel default).

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold on you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@thequadrant.fm and we will respond within thirty days.

If you are in the EU or UK and think we have mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

The public site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The admin area uses cookies set by Clerk to keep us signed in. That is the only first-party cookie on this site.

Changes

If we change how we handle data we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top.
